EUROBAT Forum 2024: The speakers line-up is complete!

We are excited to announce the upcoming EUROBAT Forum 2024, the premier annual gathering of Europe's top battery industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders. Scheduled to take place on June 4-5 at the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels with over 100 influential attendees, this anticipated event promises insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and networking opportunities. The speakers line-up is complete and ready to engage with the audience!

The event will kick off with an opening session featuring Marc Zoellner, President of EUROBAT, setting the stage for engaging dialogue and exploration within the battery industry. The event will also feature a key note speech by Bram De Wispelaere, adjunct Head of Cabinet at the Belgian Ministry of Energy.

> EU Elections Session: Fabian Zuleeg, CEO of the European Policy Centre (EPC), will provide valuable insights into the upcoming EU elections and their implications for the battery sector.

> 1st Panel: The first panel will bring to light pioneering innovations driving the battery industry forward. Speakers including Mathias Amselle, Sustainability Policy Manager at CECE, Samu Paukkunen, Head of Climate and Energy Security at NATO, Christian Rosenkranz, Vice President Industry and Governmental Relations EMEA at Clarios and Pierre Millette, Chief Technology Officer at ACEA, will share their perspectives on the latest advancements.

> 2nd Panel: The second panel will be focused on strategies for creating a balanced global playing field in the battery industry. Chris Heron, Communication & Public Affairs Director at Eurometaux, Aurel Ciobanu Dordea, Director General for Environment at the European Commission, Alex Graf, Senior Consultant at Kumi Consulting Ltd, and Nicolo Campagnol, Manager and founder of Battery Insights at McKinsey, will explore regulatory frameworks and the importance of international collaboration.

> 3rd Panel: Experts Julia Poliscanova, Senior Director, Vehicles and E-mobility Supply Chains at T&E, Alistair Davidson, Executive Director at CBI and Eric Ruyters, Secretary General at EUCOBAT, will highlight the significance of circularity in the battery sector in order to minimise waste and maximise resource efficiency.
