Recommendations on Battery-related provisions in the Omnibus Simplification Package

As a strategic enabler of the EU’s decarbonisation, electrification and energy transition objectives, the battery industry urgently requires a coherent, proportionate and implementable regulatory framework that delivers legal certainty, avoids regulatory overlap and safeguards Europe’s industrial competitiveness and resilience.
